Posts: 663 | Yes, Lac Seul Turbos are great and the mini did well for me last year too. Pacemaker is another good choice. Way different sounds between them. Get some of each and let the fish tell you what they like!

Posts: 734 | I like Nimmer Swimmers, Musky Busters Low Riders and Stompers. Pacemakers are really good also. Almost every fish I catch on topwater is on a Low Rider.

Posts: 2024 | Other than a TRaider, go with the Stomper by Holcombe Tackle for an "all purpose" type tailbait. IMO, what structure and types of lakes you fish should also dictate what you get. If you KNOW you're going to be targeting 50"ers (I know that's what we all want, but it's not necessarily a reality on some lakes) AND fishing big waves I'd say the Pacemaker would be my first choice. I also have more confidence in it being a big fish bait moreso than its competitors simply because of the amount of noise it creates and its large profile. However, I don't like the PMaker in calm conditions. I think it can be TOO loud sometimes. That's when I'd turn to a Stomper or TRaider. Just my .02 cents.

Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Pacemakers and the mag. Lac Suel Turbos for sure. Both are totally different, and can be used in different situations as well. I would go with a big pacemaker and a mag Lac Suel Turbo. Lee's Choppers are also very nice as well. Never used one yet, but after Lee tuned one for me in Chicago, I am I will have great success with this lure as well.

Posts: 4266 | The Big Pacemaker, definitely. The LST, yes. That thing will come through some big-a$$ waves....and I mean "through" them. Like the little ones too. Beav

Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | I'd go with a Rylure Tapdancer(original tail clicking tail bait). He'll make them for you in any size or color desired, and with either a brass or stainless tail piece(different sounds acheived with both).

Posts: 13688 Location: minocqua, wi. | the supertopraider performs and rarely gets benched, but if it does i fish a mini (not the tiny turbo, but similar) custom and a pacemaker ....

Posts: 80 | Rylure Tapdancer can't beat it for a tail clicking bait. MN fish love it. just talked to Ryan Jinkerson, he has about 20 of them finished and several customs give him a call he can custom make you anything you want. 715-213-2056 bblack

Posts: 55 Location: Nekoosa, WI | A Rylure Tap Dancer. An excellent bait. Just as Reef Hawg said, he can make pretty much anything you want as far as size and color. I was at his house yesterday and he's got a bunch done along with globes and custom creepers as well. Jason Bovee

Posts: 7 | My favorite prop bait is the topwalker as far as tail props go you ahve got to go with the low rider. by far the most exciting to watch. here is some video of muskies hitting tail props and a spinner. http://www.fishfever.com/node/9

Posts: 267 Location: Right behind you (tap, tap) BOOO | Anyone have an opinion on the Salmo Turbo Jack? Seems like a solid Prop bait. Thunderhead, TR, LOWRider, Awaker and now the Turbo Jack, I like all in different situations. The hardest thing is finding one that works for you on your home waters in the different situations.
