Location: Toronto, ON | I'm really late in posting my comments but I don't think there's a statute of limitations on reporting great customer service. I made two business trips to Minneapolis out of Toronto in April and of course, as an admitted internet musky tackle shopping junkie, I had to make the short trip to Thorne Brothers. What a place. We have a couple of decent options here in Ontario, but nothing like this--I hope those folks in the vicinity of T-Bros realize how lucky they are. Not only is the selection tremendous, but the folks running & working in the shop are first rate.
On my first trip, Luke and Steve were extremely helpful and spent considerable time answering my tackle questions and offering their advice based on the knowledge of the waters I fish--very interesting and insightful. My second trip into town, Brett was very patient and again, helpful, as I stayed, at their own suggestion, well after closing hours, to check out their vast selection of baits and tackle.
I was like a kid in a candy store...except with a credit card (!!!)...and I can't say enough about the terrific customer service skills possessed by the folks at T-Bros--thanks guys and to the blonde 'girl' (whose name I didn't get) who was also of great assistance....and better looking than the average musky shop employee! I'm going to have to book more trips to that corner of the world....if I can afford it.... |
