I've got a 2004 that seems to have a transom cap that was cut too long for the transom. No matter how I try to adhere that cap to the top of the transom the thing looks like a Kentucky landsape with all the hills and valleys in it. Does anyone know how that cap is attached underneath the fiberglass gunnel cap in the back of the boat? I couldn't get it to slide out from underneath the fiberglass to remove it and shorten it a bit.

I recommend calling Ed at the factory, his number is 800.359.4416. He is very busy, but can answer your question, I'm sure.
