Hi: I'm considering buying a bigger boat so I can fish larger water. Not interested in the larger Ranger consoles because I want a simple boat, less engine, no kicker, etc.. I've been thinking of a 620T with the Power Steering which I've used and think is awesome. However I thought I might get some input from fellow musky anglers on the 620Ts casting deck height, multiple fisherman, etc.. If you have some experience with this boat I would appreciate the input!

I have fished out of two of them, Herbie's and Gregg Thomas'. I know Steve Jonesi is getting one as well.

If I could afford one, I would fish out of one.

These are great boat, and the room is amazing. I wouldn't second guess it at all. It is one of the best musky boats out there today.

Get it dude!

I bought the boat of Herbie's that Mike fished out of, and I love it.
I guide out of it on Kinkaid, and always have more than enough room for me and my clients, plus all our stuff.
The boat is rock steady, even in pretty stiff winds, and the fit and finish of a Ranger is second to none.
I really love mine.

Hey Guys: How about the casting distance from the front deck to the water? AND, where does the guy in the rear stand while he's casting? On the seat? or on the floor? I was thinking of building or having built a removeable front casting deck so my ppartner and I could both fish off the front deck. Thanks,
Red Man

When I have 3 guys in the boat, ther is one on the front deck, and one between me and him standing on the side.
I keep the floor clutter free, so his first step down is right onto the floor.
I have also had some guys who didn't have much grace fish from the floor of the boat, and other than being somewhat far from the water, they havent had much of a problem.
I guide from the rear of my boat, and use a footpad extention cable for my MotorGuide motor.
I found that my Lakewood Monster is the same height as the side deck, so I slide it right up the the edge and stand on it and the deck.
Works out great.
I always try to have my clients fishing out of the Left side of the boat, casing perpendicular to whatever structure we are working.
That allows me to help watch for follows, and keeps all of the baits swinging in the same direction which make it less likely that someone gets a face full of hooks.
