| I'm seriously looking into a new Fisher Boat. Whats everyone's opinion are they well built? Are there any recalls in resent years? Anyone have one? Likes & Dislikes? |

| Have owned two in the past, these will be the last two, Bought a pontoon boat and a bass type boat at the same time. Both boats had bad welds!! Sent both boats many times to the dealer. Finally the dealer had to use an outsourced welder fabricator to get the job done right, the factory tried to help but just could not handle the boat design and welding problems. Since then I have sold both boats and give a grade of D+ to them. |

| I do know that tracker and fisher boats are made by the same people. I am not sure of the quality but of both brands of boats mentioned the only one I liked was the tracker v-bottomed aluminum bass boat layout. That's a neat boat. I was not impressed with the narrow bottoms or the layouts of the other boats. |

| A friend bought one a season ago,and by that fall he sold it and got a Alumacraft!He also had a leak that they could not locate!All I know is he was not a happy camper with that boat!On a side note I have had great luck with my Lowe!This boat goes through hell and is holding up great!Look around alot and take everyones opinions and FORM YOUR OWN!Best advice I can give! | Well that looks like three strikes it's out. The thing that really turned me onto them was the price. I was looking at the 19.5 ft and with 90hp and trailer ran 16K. I knew it was to good to be true. You get what you pay for. |

| Esox-anator, If you are who I think you are, I would steer clear of a Fisher for Lake St. Clair, they just don't ride smooth or dry enough for Lake St. Clair. For roughly the same money you can get a Starcraft Superfisher with a true deep vee. For any info on recalls, check out the USCG site:

St. Clair is my number 1 lake and would be the roughest that I would probably encouter. Money is not an opition but I want something that I can keep for some years. If the hull leaks and beats me to death I don't want it. I want a boat set-up for 50/50 casting trolling, with tons of storage. When I find that boat.....its mine. I just want to look into every brand before I buy a new one.

Look at the Tuffy big water line. Go to the walleye sites and ask about customer service, quality, and value. Then ask about the ride! I know where there are some pretty good deals out there, so ask, look, and listen, then email me...[8)] |

| Will have a Michigan dealer this year. There were a couple, but I left the road and went into the office fulltime and did not get out to see them with the new products. I will be back on the highway soon, and will set a couple up....[:praise:] |

| When I asked people about Fisher boats, I was told about the leaks, and chipping paint. If you are looking at an Aluminum Bassboat style boat I was told Xpress makes a great boat. Otherwise I like the looks of a G3 HP series boat.
Oh, and as far as resale value goes, in Minnesota the resale isn't the greatest, but I am in the land of Lund, Crestliner, and Alumacraft.
