Just to coorect Jimbos story a little. I saw the piece of line they used to make the final measurements with for the replica. It measured 55 7/8 inches an the girth was 33 1/2. They took the measurements in the water. My dad said if they would have pinched the tail and did the measurements out of the water it would have been a couple inches bigger than 55 7/8 Oh well, as for the weight, who knows.
