| Hi guys, I'm still desparately looking for info. on the "water dog" or "water dawg"??? lures that were available and used around the st. lawrence river of northern new york state in the 1950's and 1960's .......... Could someone please help me out with identification of such lures........ better yet, does anyone have one for sale? please contact me , thank you, Mark L. [email protected]  | |||

Posts: 419 Location: Appleton, WI | I thought that water dawg lure was the same as the Hellbender. but I could be wrong. Anyway hopefully someone could verify that this is correct. Posts: 419 Location: Appleton, WI | I did a search on google and it appears that I could very well be correct to assume that the hellbender and water dog are synonymous.
