Guys & Gals,
MI's annual Spring Awards Banquet & Fundraiser is right around the corner. It is scheduled for Saturday April 9th at Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL. The banquet is an all you can eat Texas style BBQ followed by a silent & public auction. See attached flyer for details. Any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] and I'd be happy to answer any/all questions you may have. This event is a lot of fun with lots of great gifts being auctioned off. Hope you can make it!!

This event is $90 per couple, and we really need you local folks to attend this fun night with great raffle prizes. Also just announced, those of you who don't want to shell out $45/person for dinner can join us for the silent auction and raffle for FREE, that's right, FREE! See you next Saturday

FYI, we currently have about 160 people confirmed for the MI fundraiser/dinner on Saturday April 9th and Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL.

Many of our MI members did not want to spend the $45.00/plate cost to attend this function. As an afterthought on my part, please let everyone know that they can come for the public/silent auction following the dinner AT NO COST!! You can partake in the silent & public auctions and enjoy the cash bar if you so choose. The public auction starts around 7:00 PM and they have thousands of dollars in merchandise to auction off. Wildlife prints, rods & reels, guide trips etc... way too much to mention here! Slamr, I will have extra tables set up just for this so everyone will have a place to sit, relax and enjoy a cocktail or two.

Please pass the word around for me. If folks are interested in attending the fundraiser part only; have them shoot me an e-mail to [email protected]

There's over 1000 MI members within a 90 mile radius of this event. As of Friday night there's only 150 scheduled to attend. If we want MI to do more for Fisheries, Research and Youth, we need better turn out. You don't have to spend $45.00 to attend this event. Anyone is welcome to attend for ZERO cost. Come out have a couple cocktails and throw a few dollars in the raffle drum to support a great organization and have some good times with your fellow muskie fisherman.

The event was awesome. Holy cow, I never seen so many cool prizes. Some raffle lots had enough stuff to get a person completely into musky fishing. I met some great people from some far away clubs and if you have never been to an international board meeting, it is quite interesting and can get very spirited. Alot of passion and debate goes into making the club into what iis. Thanks to all that attended and to the people who came in just for the raffle and not the dinner as well.

What a great event and great group of people. Nice to put faces with names, and the raffle booty was plentiful.
