| Curious, too. How long are you down there, Todd? We're also headed down Sunday and fishing Monday-Wed. Look for us in the black Crestliner Muskie Edition. |

| Let me guess, Spring Break? Seems like everyone's that week (mine included). We're going out with Gregg Thomas and will hopefully pick up a pattern or two. Don't care if it's trolling or casting but I want something bigger than the dinks and low 30s we've been catching this year in IL. |

Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | Fished the MI Kentucky chapter's cabin fever challunge on Green River Lake March 31-April 2. 62+/- anglers over the three days boated 9 fish from 30.5" up to 43". Weather on day 1 was sunny, mid 70's and calm. Water tmpes in some places were as high as 58. Then all hell broke loose. The Clouds move in assisted by heavy winds and accompanied by rains on/off for both days 2 and 3. Water temps dropped to as low as 48 on some spots. Water clarity diminished throughout many of ther creeks and surrounding waters due to the rain fall and rising water levels. Was definitely tough fishihng for all. Those that were caught were caught on a variety of baits some casting some trolling, certailny no apparent pattern. Nobody was able to double up.
Personally I had action on three fish. A low 30"er just lookingat a soft plastic shad, a mid upper 30 took a nip at the same bait and I hooked and lost a 45-46" on a firetiger burt bait in spot that the locals claim doesnt hold fish in the spring. I saw her again the next morning apparently chasing shad on top of this structure. She may have alreday had a belly full and moved down off to the secondary break or suspended just off the structure over deep water. Couldnt get her to respond to anything we threw at her. For the first muskie outing of the year was kinda tough but I still got my 05 season started. There is once again life after winter.
