Mike,

Check out www.shelbyvillemuskie.com. It's the site of the Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club and you can find lots of info there. I can tell you that the water is still fairly cold (I'm not sure if it's broken the 40 degree mark yet) and that it's about 7' above winter pool making it pretty muddy. You could try 'traps and jointed Believers in the muddy water. It might be worth heading up north past the Findlay bridge all the way to Bo Woods. That region has a tendency to warm up quickly. Look to the coves on the north side (facing south). If you're fishing the Lithia Springs area. Look for mud flats and fish the backs of coves. Then head deeper if nothing is up shallow and maybe troll around. Good luck!

Just so you know, there is a musky tournament on Kinkaid St Patrick's Day weekend.
Don't know is that matters to you or not .... just an FYI.

Hey Mike,
Just checked the weather channel forecast for Shelbyville. Was 59 today and calling for upper to mid fifties for the weekend. Chance of rain on Saturday. Good camping weather and hopefully turn some fish on.

Fished Shelbyville this Sat. Man it was cold! Casted around the wolf creek campground launch, then headed out to the dam trolled for about 2 hours. Didn't see a single fish. Water was dark and cold. Didn't expect to see too much. Right as we were ready to leave on Sunday it got real nice out. Sunny less wind but we had to head home ! Probably try Shab or Evergreen this weekend.

Highest water temp was 45. Most areas were 42-43. Almost everything we were marking was deep 20-40. Could only cast in the few places the wind would allow. trolled around the dam for several hours with no luck.
