Posts: 2515 Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Gotta love tourny fishing in late October and November. I've had a few people ask about the dates...June then not another one until October. The reason for this is 100% planned. First and foremost we wanted to protect the fishery. Tournys in July, August and even Sept on SE Wisconsin waters can bring very very high water temps. It was decided that the right thing to do was to wait. Second, we didn't want anglers having to fight off all the Jet Skiis and pleasure craft. Finally, we didn't want to interfere with any other tourny. If you guys are anything like me, you don't want the season to end, the IMTT gives you die hards an opportunity at big fish late in the season. Our final event is on Pewaukee lake.....how many fish over 50" did that lake produce last year??? 12 or so??? Please stop in and say hello at the Open House on the 31st.
