Hello,

I picked up a Lac Suel Turbo at the Milw. Musky show. I really like prop baits and in the past have had good luck with topraiders. The thing that intrigued me about the LCturbo was that the maker claims with the small additional prop you can work the bait at a considerably slower speed and still get a very good popping sound. Anyone fish this bait last year or in recent years. Are these claims accurate?

Two words to answer your question: OH YEAH! Sweet bait, at slow and medium speeds. with that sound, the quality contsruction, and good paint and finish, it is my #1 prop style topwater. You've made a wise desicion

By far the best topwater tailspin made. I agree wise choice. Many fish caught on it.

It’s an excellent bait with an excellent sound. I don’t know if you can fish it slower or not but it definitely has a place. On my LOTW trip last summer I got 8 fish up to 50.5” on a Turbo my wife and kids got me for fathers day. (Thanks Chuck Nelson for helping them pick it out.) I was working it at about the same speed as I work a Topraider. I plan to use it more this summer in N. Wisconsin just to give the fish a little different look.

Paint held up good, but eventually started pealing after all that action. Only required minimal tuning after the bigger fish to keep it sounding good.

I would recommend this lure to everyone.
