Posts: 2894 Location: Yahara River Chain | lambeau, yeah like Willy said, great pics. I really enjoey the day meeting members form CCMI, Faltlanders, and elsewheere. I got to throw some bait that I "aquired" from the past couple of fishing shows. It was also fun to make a couple of "wiz" type baits for the kids. In their favorite colors (that I had). BTW, it's Dan Reim and BS Willy. Gerard

Posts: 185 Location: Pound, WI | I agree, lambeau, great pics. I think I turned my nephew into a muskie fisherman with the Hands on class. Another fishing partner! It was a great way to spend a cold Saturday. Hats off to the instructors and CCMI. Brian Osterberg

Location: Middleton, WI | Glad it turned out well for everyone. Steve Worrall, Donnie Hunt and Lee Tauchen all told me that the driving was pretty tough getting to DeForest! They all did an excellent job. It always seems to work out that we catch the snow storms on the weekend we select for this school. We had a great turnout and a school full of friendly people - ambitious students and first-class instructors. The evaluations came in real high and the students gave it an A+. They liked all the classes as well as the food/deserts-additional classes were requested. The pool sessions were a big draw this year again. We went to a new arrangement - 1:1 with instructors - it was very popular and well liked. It was a first for us - and we're glad it worked out well. We have requests to do a few new classes and a repeat of ones discontinued for next year e.g., luremaking-crankbaits, GPS hands-on instruction, Boat/motor maintenance, and a Canada - only session. Those are good suggestions. Open water isn't too far away now and it's going to be tough to wait another six weeks for the opener - seeing those lures in the pool gets the adrenaline going. I guess its time to get organized and get those lures I won at the Muskie School raffle and picked up at Shows all sharpened up. Here are a few pictures from the school: Attachments ---------------- bill judine revby graphite 2005.jpg (155KB - 108 downloads)

Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I had a great time. BS Willy baits has a Creeper I can CRANK and it still behaves (that is exciting to me, I don't do well reeling one cast per hour) Lee has a topwater that is so loud it will cause a follow from the next lake over. Donny was looking great and shared lots of BIG fish info, the school was packed, the instructors top shelf, Cory Painter was everywhere, Lambeau and many other MuskieFIRST guys were taking pictures, the lunch was good, and I got to toss my Hellhound. WOW. See the new lures thread. Attachments ---------------- DSCF0038.JPG (51KB - 110 downloads) DSCF0035.JPG (56KB - 95 downloads) DSCF0040.JPG (67KB - 107 downloads)

This was my first school that I was able to attend/participate in. I had a blast! Talking about the Mad-chain during the discussion panel got me all fired up!!! Can't wait till next year! Some great folks attended and there was a TON of info shared! I think everyone picked up something that will hel[p them this coming year...I know I did! It was also great to see folks I hadn't seen in a while! Cory

Location: Hayward WI | You wanna talk about the best $25 I've spent in a long time!! A great day talking to some of the best muskie sticks around, great lunch and meeting some of the MuskieFirst crew. Many people commented on how much the took away in new knowledge from the seminars and pool demos especially from Steve Worrall. Steve, you ever think of writing a book??
