I am curious about the baits that have caught 50 plus inch muskies. I have caught a few and the first 50 was caught on a Lindy Big "M".
Lets here what you caught your big fish on and size of the bait.
I am not corncerned about where or what color the bait was just bait and size.

I will start.

While I haven't been close yet, other than to see one, I think this is a cool thread that hopefully get alot of replies.

I am looking at a number of muskies that were caught on many baits that are under 10". I am sure this has to do with the locations of where the fish was caught.

Under 10 inches now thats an easy answer. But I and clients have caught dozens on 10 inch believers, dozens on 10-14 inch spinnerbaits and a couple dozen of 12 inch Plows. Other notables are 10" Jakes, 13" Grandmas, 10-14 inch Willeys, 15 inch custom Jake, 13 inch SS Minnow, Wishmasters, 10 inch Reefhawgs, 10 inch Sledges, 10 inch Mantas, 10 inch Suick and I'm sure I forgot a few.

Only one on a lure under 10 inches it was a 52.5 incher on a blackbird topraider.

Marc just reminded me, he got one on an 8 inch Tuff Shad. I only own 10 inchers but when I saw the color of his I told him I would catch him a fish on it if he would let me borrow it. Little did I know if would be a 53 inch beauty. Goes to show it's not all in the lures but how you present them most times.

I see Mr. Worrall has caught a couple jigging.

I have caught two big girls in late fall on fuzzy duzzits over the years. Has anybody else caught them jigging?
