| yes there has.
In 2003 the front deck was extended to allow easier mounting of a dual console, 02' would have "smaller" (not that it is small, but smallER) front deck
they quit plumbing in the baitwell behind the drivers seat I think in 2004, 02' would be plumbed in.
in 2005 they still dont have a plumbed in baitwell, but the main livewell lid is split to accomodate a minnow bucket.
in 03 or 04 they made more dash space to mount 2 units if you wanted, 02' dash is kinda cramped for 2 units, either get a combo if you want GPS, or get creative with a RAM mount.
other than that, cosmetic stuff like woodgrain vs. alum look and different seats,etc.
The hull dimensions and structural integrity did not change....just minor "creature comfort" stuff since 2002.

| I've got an 04 Fish Hawk 1750. The new seats that are in it are terrible. Everyone who gets into the boat says the same thing. I know the models previous to 2oo4 had very comfortable seats. Other than those crappy seats I love it!! |

Location: Mississauga, Ontario | The rig I'm looking at is a 2002 (purchased in 2003) Fish Hawk 1750 with a 2002 Yamaha 100hp 4stroke with 30 hours on it. It includes a AM/FM CD, livewell, baitwell, rod holders,casting butt seat, travel cover & a custom trailer. The asking price is CDN$17,900.00 or US$14,368.63. What do you guys think of the asking price? Are there better deals out there? |

Location: Bagley,MN 56621 | That seems VERY spendy, especially without electronics.
I pulled a blue book for you, had to guess on the trailer (figured a Shorelander for that size boat), but came up with $12,000 retail.
we have 2004 non-current with 115 4-stroke yammies, fully loaded with electronics,extra seats,cover for $16,995, thats only $2K more............electronics are most of that, plus you get much newer boat/motor and trailer.
If you have to put a lot of electronics on that 2002, you'll not be that far behind a new one.
I'd keep looking........... |
