Wow, great event, had a lot of fun, were some of the compliments said about our 1st Annual 12 Apostles Musky Club “Steak Night”. Our goal was to sell two hundred dinner tickets, and raffle off some prizes. Well we exceed that; we ended up serving over 350 dinners.

For our raffles we had five different ones. Our ticket raffle contained 13 separate raffles. Another raffle was the wheel raffle. Here we sold 30 sticks and spun the wheel for choice of three prizes. We ran 10 games on this alone. We had two card raffles, one for a print and the other for musky rod and reel. We held a silent auction raffle and a 50/50 raffle and also a guides raffle.

We are honored to say we raised over $4,000.00 to help fund our fish stocking, fisheries research, habitat improvement and some other programs.

The 12 Apostles Musky Club would like say “thank you” to each and everyone who came over to this event. And of course our businesses who helped us out; Gander Mountain, Frabill, St. Croix Rods, CustomFish.com, Pepsi-Cola of Wis. Rapids, Pheasant Prairie Hunting Cub, Heckel’s Marina on Lake DuBay, Musky Hunter, Esox Magazine, Suick Lures, Musky411.com, MuskieFirst.com, H2O Tackle Co., Mepps, Stevens Point Brewery, Roberts Outdoors, Devore Tails, Sportsman’s Repair shop and others. Thanks to all the guides who donated time on the water for us.
A special “thank you” to Gander Mountain of Mosinee and Tom Keenan for the support you have given this club and a “thank you” to the Moose Family Center for letting us host this event at your facility.
