"Blog" is short for "web log" which is just an online diary or journal.

It's the most overused word of the past year, IMO.

They are very marshy, some of them break off from shore and float around. Kinds neat to see a floating blog with trees on it.

The ones that hang out right at the waters surface can be real interesting when your running back to the landing at night. We would call the sound when your motor hit it "getting Blogged."

It's the way I feel after a bender. As in "I awoke this moring in a Blog and had trouble finding my way home".

I tired my first attempt a Blog jumping last year. When boating in a stuper with no moon… the path between the blog and the island closed…they’re actually pretty soft. It’s getting your boat off’em that’s the problem.
