A GROUP FROM MILWAUKEE ARE PLANNING A TRIP TO CAVE RUN IN APRIL AND LOOKING FOR SOME HELP AS TO BEST WEEKEND. SOME OF THE GUYS FISHED THE PMTT DOWN THERE BUT WE STILL WOULD LIKE SOME INFO ON SOME GREAT FISHING. IT IS ALREADY A LONG WINTER FOR ME. PLANNING THIS TRIP SHOULD HELP OUT THE LONG COLD DAYS...THANKS AND GOOD FISHING..DENNIS[:)]

I was down for the PMTT last year for the first time. It seemed like that time frame was a good time to pick. The water just was starting to warm up a little and the fish were starting to get active. Depends a lot on the weather as to just when it will be the right time to be down there.

Any time you can get down there and be casting for "lunge" has to be a better time than sitting up here!!!!!

Dennis.....you have chosen well grasshopper....your decision to travel south has many possibilities....first of all start now by speaking slowly.....become more patient....begin to ingest grits w/ salt + pepper in small quantities....expect to be gawked at + studied at first + if approached stand very still until the mystique wears off! AND....if you bring down some butter I'll tell you of 2 very good spots....check w/ Crashs' Landing Musky Post...they have everything you will need--. maps, info., baits + the people there are TOP NOTCH + fun to talk to....remind me + I'll post their phone #!
