| Spongee.... I dunno what to say. I used to laugh at your threads but this one, well its malicious. This idea is one which we must denounce with fervor. I am currently in a battle with my significant other about the venue of our next vacation. I have absolutely NO desire to roast on the beach while in a state of complete boredom. I fear that in your venue my wife would develop a support channel and I would lose any chance at a much anticipated trip to LOTW.

| My wife's been on it already and she'd love to chat with some of the other wives. She thinks that we're all nuts anyway. Besides, this way I can show her what it feels like to have somebody watching over your shoulder while you're trying to type.

| Hey LunchBox......Got a suggestion to you....Cape Cod in early july.
I had the same problem with my wife about vacation sites. Ended up going to the Cape for the 4th of July.....AWESOME! The best part was the fishing from the beaches!!!! Caught a ton of nice strippers and some bluefish...just down from where the kids were swimming! If your wife wants to hit a beach and you want to fish this is a good place to go.
Of course if she is looking to hit somewhere in Feb the Cape wouldn't be my first choice[:bigsmile:]

| Lunchbox, another option is any of the major coastal cities
of Florida. Take your Muskie Tackle out onto a Party Boat for the day. Even on a relatively slow day for the Party Boat, you will likely have more action as you will have all year fishing Muskies. A huge plus is that you can actually take the fish that you catch home and eat them. After years of dedicated muskie fishing, imagine that! |

| Daggone dude!!! The beach front can provide many hrs of entertainment....fishing, staring at the sun, crash out + getting lobsterized, surfing, etc....like Cory + Steve said...give it a shot! If you go, let me know...there are features to look for in the surf that fish like + the food is AWESOME!(sand in a peanut butter sandwich aids digestion) Now search that cedar chest for those Birdwell Jams + blaze the trail![;)] [:sun:]

| ToddM, we would still have plenty to talk about! There still would be the catchers and the fishers. The people that know, and those that want to know. There would be tide rising/falling versus fish activity questions. Then there is always that age old question, what bikini is the best looking on the ladies on the beach while waiting for the bluefish to bite. We would have to change the name of the website is all. |
