I have a lake house on Palestine Lake. The channel that splits the lake is usually good and around the island on the south end of the lake. the lake is shallow except for two deep holes one on each side of the lake. Spinnerbaits seem to do well until the weeds take over. Let me know if you go there how you did.

Matt:

You may want to read a IN DNR survey report on Palastine http://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/publications/notes/palestine.pdf Note the paragraph on page 9 that indicates muskie are not doing well in the lake, according to surveys.

If there is any info on Ball Lake I would also greatly appreciate any help. This will keep me off Webster, Tippy and Barbie, since I am coming from Toledo. Fished Ball Lake late last season. The lake seemed liked the fish would relate to the steep drop off, but did not see any. Probably didn't help that I had two kids aboard( 4 and 6 years old). we dragged three suckers and I tried to cast when I could.

Appreciate any help,
"The Musky Shakes"- Mark
