I got money from a number of the family which is to be directed toward a GPS unit. I have seen the Garmin III Plus
in action and am leaning towards getting it. I know that
many of you have used GPS units in both your piscitorial pursuits as well as hunting.
What are your opinions on GPS units available?

First of all Steve let us hope you "recieved" the $$$ + not "borrowed" it from a 7-11....times have been hard this year + we understand![;)] Make sure the unit has an off/on button....fortunately I have an inner radar system that lets me know where I am at all times! There are many choices out there...take each one + research the choice + let us know how it goes...[:sun:]

Steve,
I have used the Garmin GPS III plus for the last couple years and have had no problems at all. It is very user friendly and works well with most of the digital mapping software, lots of nice features.
my 2 cents,
toddb[:praise:]
