| we had 9 people for the 1st Annual "Take Your Muskie to Work Day", braving the cold to celebrate the end of WI's muskie season by fishing on Petenwell.
the fish didn't cooperate, but the weather was awesome (40, sunny and calm), and the company was superb. the highlight of the day was smashing our way through the ice to get to Romano's to get burger and beers for lunch. the only sacrifice required was a slashed-up keel-guard on our "icebreaker" boat.
due to no muskies boated, we raffled off a hang-10 Manta and squirrely Jake, much to the dismay of those who took time off to catch a couple of walleyes. after a quick review by the judge, it was decided that "baitfish" definitely couldn't be allowed to win any prizes, so we had to pull names from a hat!
good time was had by all, hope to see you next year!
