What type line do you think best for trolling and casting? Don't need brand names, just types like braid, superline, or mono and why you use what you do. I went to superline from mono but still am not convinced what I use is the best choice. Maybe there's not one best choice to fit all applications. What do you think.

80# powerpro or tuffline xp! and your good IMHO

80 pound superline such as Cortland Spectron or Power Pro work great in general for casting or trolling.
However, very clear water trolling requires 100 pound mono and flouro leaders to decrease visability. Also if you are using planer boards mono works better.
