Where are you planning to spend the Thanksgiving holiday weekend? I'll be hunting and spending some time putting up a couple of the deer we have in the garage. Ice is a reality here on most waters now, and snow is forcast for tonight.

Who's fishing muskies this weekend, and where?

Steve- I'll be fishing on the WI River. Up to 23 fish for the season. The big girls seem to be hanging in the deep - 15-30 ft of water. I've been field testing a brand new lure for muskies. I had one on for about 2 minutes Wed nite that took the lure off the surface in ~25' of water. It was big, and was actually pulling my 10' flatbottom and I had a good bow in my 6'6" G Loomis jerk rod. I couldn't pull it up to get a look at it. I'm thinking it was just clamped onto the lure, even though I set the hook twice. Ice balls on the line guides, ya gotta love it!
