Location: Woodstock, IL | I won't know for sure until Saturday, but I may have some time on Sunday to hit the chain perhaps for the last time this season. I'm not all that familiar with the water, but I'll bring the 1850 and coffee if you bring the suckers. I'll likely launch at the State Park.
If you're interested, let me know.

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Doug normally I wouldn't mention it but you said you are not familiar with the water. If you didn't know you are required to have a Fox Waterway Agency chain sticker to use the chain. Also, they are starting to draw down the lake leves for winter so be careful on Grass lake if you are launching there.

Location: Woodstock, IL | Luke - thanks for the tip. I've been on the water a couple of times, so I already have the sticker. Maybe I'll launch on the north lakes since levels are coming down and I'll be fishing there anyway. |

| Dpratt:
I have noticed that when the lakes really get down to their winter levels, the best place to launch seems to be Barnacle bobs just off rt 173. It launches into Marie and has a nice deep ramp. I usually launch from Bobs Marina into Catherine but it is shallower and when the drawdown occurs, it can be a bit of a pain. |

Location: Illinois | The launch at the Thirsty Turltle is in good shape. I launched there Thursday and there was plenty of depth.Good luck out there. |
