This is sad. I had dinner with alan last wednesday and he was showing me pictures of his dad. I know he has been really bummed out about his dad's condition as of late and he has a lifetime of great memories of his father as well. I will keep alan and his family in my prayers.

Alan, I am truly sorry for your loss, but please remember, your father will always be with you in spirit when you are musky fishing. I lost my Dad early in life, so be happy for the time you had with him.

My prayers go out to you and your family, Alan. Keep making memories in the Bass Cat with those who remain. That's a great way to honor the memory of your Dad.

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers. Dad had a terrible fall a month and a half ago. He borke his neck and left shoulder. He put up a terrific fight, but pneumonia and other complications were too much for him. I had the extreme pleasure of fishing with him almost all my life from toddler on. Even at almost 89 he could still sling the plugs with me for a couple of hours. Matt was able to observe this, when dad tagged along on some of our outings. Once again thank you for your prayers. Musky Alan (Alan Buvelot). P.S. By the way he did have a 32 lber. to his credit at age 72.

My dad should of gotten on me more about my spelling. I havn't been able to be on the computer because mine is shot. Right now I am using the library's public computers. Have to get some use out of my property taxes!!!!! Once again dad was a fighter but the nursing home rehab that he was at after a month's hospital stay for a week really wasn't set up for his complications, trach, feeding tube, broken neck etc. Please guys do me a favor and keep this in the back of your mind if a love one has to have a trach (breathing tube through the neck) make sure they have more than a little portable suction machine to suction out secreations in the lungs, so pnenmuia (spelling again) doesn't set in and they are suction regularly. We found a place but it was too late after his second stay at the hospital. I do believe though god was calling for dad. The man really love to fish, but the last two years he was slowing down and bascially to just to be with me out in the boat. Once again thanks for all the prayers and I will be back online soon. P.S. Clark a big thankyou for putting the word out. Al
