The 1st phase of our fundraising effort is complete. The online auction was nothing short of incredible.Slamr did a ton of work and was a great host.Truly amazing.Treat people well and see what happens? We raised $4,000!Had a lot of fun too!I can't say enough about the people here and I'm not going to get all cheesey, but what a group.Guys spent a lot of money.People with families and mortgages etc..I'm sure I speak for all those at MuskieFirst and Musky Nut in thanking all those who bid on items/packages and a huge thank you to all who donated items/trips.A truly memorable night.Thank you all.Kyle thanks you too. I unfortunately couldn't attend the auction, due to an unexpected event, but I kept in contact with a couple of you and heard what was being done. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is just amazing what the family here at MuskieFirst can do.

Thank you everyone for so much support of the effort overall. From the sponsors, to those who donated, to Cady and Jonesi for their work (some of which was keeping me from killing anyone). Its everyone contributing who makes these functions run as well as they do. MuskieFIRST truly is a very special place, and one that is what it is because of the Members who make it MuskieFIRST.

But let's all give a big thanks to all the contributing donators (and yes, these lists are how I choose how to make my muskie purchases):

Musky Innovations http://www.muskyinnovations.com
Mepps Lures http://www.mepps.com
Musky Nut Tackle Co. http://www.muskynut.com
Suick Lures http://www.suick.com

Producer Tackle
Mike Hulbert's Guide Service
MuskieFIRST (yes Mr. Worrall, we gave away a hat and a jacket [need to talk to you about that one])
Jim "Beav" Slivinski for his custom painted Smuttly Dawgs
Todd Minor for MANY hand-tied tails.
The Bikini Bait Company
Uptown Gliders
Reese's Country Store
Durst Productions
Mike Gregg's Custom Painting
Snowcrest Lures
Bradrock Lures http://www.bradrocklures.com
Muskies101 http://www.muskies101.com

Thanks again to all that helped with this effort, and all of you who paid out your hard earned money for a good cause! See you all tonight and tomorrow at Jollymon's!

All I have to say is people really stepped up to the plate lastnight.

The best auction I have ever seen. A "LOT" that started off as a Weagle, and a few ToddM Tails turned into a crazy event with lures, 3 guide trips, a jacket, hats, paint jobs, 10 Weagles, ect..... JESSE was the MAN on that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I know is I better get one of those WEAGLES Jesse!!!!

Hell of a job lastnight boys! The kid was probably laughing his a$$ off last night when the bidding wars began. pgaschultz was priceless lastnight, and Jesse took the cake. It was simply awesome.

Thanks to Slamr, for putting this together!

It was a great time. Kudos to those involved in the orchestration of it. It was chaotic at times, but generally under control...bidding, however, got completely out of hand! Thankfully so, I might add. I was impressed. Jesse and PGA - what can I say? Your bank accounts may be empty now, but your karma accounts will always be full! And Slamr, nicely done.
Thanks to all who donated, and I (much like Slamr), pay attention to things like that.
K.

Thanks guys its a great cause and get some great stuff, yeah you think I was nuts last night you should have know me on my drinking days, I would not have lost an auction item. Heck I didnt know what that thing was from Muskie first i guess some kind of 26 inch lure all i know i was up to $100 for it. Does anyone have a picture of it. Would love to see that lure and is it just a display thing or do people really fish with it. I also would like to see a picture of a Snowcrest Globe some guys said it was a top water and others a glide bait. The best is I get to wet some lines with Slamr one day. $400 heck thats nothing we have some Drivers in our shop for more than that.....The killer my chicky is going to freak when she see more lures coming to the house. Anyone want my bass stuff LOL....Love the musky and love what you guys did for Kyle never had a chance to meet him but he sure seems very well liked. If the PGA would treat us Golf Pro's like Musky fisherman treat other Musky fisherman the world would be a better place.....

Thanks Guys Great Time First Class Auction,
pgaschulz "AKA SS Bob"

P.S. Can't wait to throw that weagle or one of those huges rivers I am going to catch my first 50 icher for Kyle!!!!
