I started to post this the other day, and wasn't logged in and hit enter and nothing was in the box and I could not edit. You might have seen Gary Larsen fishes here.

I am a big fan of the "Far Side" comics and often think of MY life in terms of the captions on his strips. Was fishing Monday and just as I finished the day, knocking the cups off yet another prop, a caption came to me and still sits in my head:

"Captain Stupid left the dock that morning, knowing the exact location of 14 of the 15 hazards to navigation in the lake."

I too love the Far Side, my favorite is the 2 guys sitting in a boat with all kinds of mushroom clouds bursting in the distance....the one guy says to the other.."looks like today there is no bag limit".

GMG,
About ten years ago I had t-shirts made up with that exact far side on them. It was especially humorous to me because the exact caption went something like this

"Norm, looks like we can forget the size restrictions and screw the bag limit."

Well FSF, was it a stump or rock and how many times have you traveled that route and not touched a thing? Been there done that. Dam Far Side telling the truth all the time.

GMG, that is the one I keep above my desk! You have to have a sense of humor to musky fish.
