My wife is taking a real estate brokers test over in the Merrillville area saturday. I'll have a couple hours with nothing to do, is there any places over in that area that have muskie lures?

There is a salmon shop in whiting that has some musky stuff too, that is on indianapolis bvld. If you read the billboards on the way there on 80/90/94/294/394/65 you will see there is plenty to do in the area, just don't tell your wife!

Todd, I am sure his wife would understand if he "accidently" ended up in a strip club or casino while lost looking for Mik Lurch tackle.. Mik Lurch Fishing Tackle Outlet
7025 Indianapolis Blvd.
Hammond, IN 46324
Phone: ( 219) 989-0575
http://www.miklurch.com/index.php
And yes they do have Musky stuff as evidenced by this picture: http://www.miklurch.com/images/specials/MVC-009S.jpg
plus they have a discount coupon you can print out from the website: http://www.miklurch.com/coupons.php
If you are willing to "cross the border" you could also hit Ed Shirley's in Markham, Il on 159th street(just take 294 to the 159th street exit and go west about 1 mile) or Fishing Connection in Tinley Park also on 159th street but about 4 miles west of ed shirley's.

Cool, it looks like I have some choices here. Sorry no strip clubs since I'll be watching my 8 year old and 8 month old while she's taking the test. Then again that probably rules out the casino's too I figure since I get to baby sit I can treat myself to a new toy or too though Thanks guys

Hey Bill, we're heading to the cottage from there so will be down somewhere around 4 on saturday afternoon. You wanna go out for a few hours? Your boat or mine?

If you're going to try to get to Mik-Lurch , with all the construction on 80/94 right now , going westbound you can't get off at Indpls Blvd. Once you go past Cline Ave there are NO exits open till you cross the state line and can get off at Torrence Ave. I would go to Cline Ave and get off going North to the next exit which is 169th St , at end of ramp at stop light turn left and go over to Indpls Blvd , make another left and go approx 1 block to Mik-Lurch , it'll be on your left side of the road.

DeLong Lure Mfg. is located in Valparaiso, aprox. 10 miles from Merriville. They manufacture the KILR EELS and Giant Witch, a soft plastic that has become very popular over the last year.
A great lure.
