Location: syracuse indiana | hey guys i recieved a molly bait in a deal i made with another mskyfrst member . i do not have one and i have not used it yet. is it a twitch bait. and how deep will it go what kind of action does it have will i be happy with it. and whats the best way to work it... thanx bill |

A twitch bait and then some.I can work the lg. down about 7-8'(if I want it deeper)and it suspends/very slow rise perfectly.Shorter snaps/downward twitches, really bring it to life with serious side/side and roll.I'm going to throw it a ton next week at the Shady Moon.Play with it.You'll like it. Location: syracuse indiana | thanx steve i will. its a cool looking bait. its a durst smallmouth pattern on it too probly around 6 inches long . i think it will work wonders here. i have some other twitch baits and they work good. cant wait to try it out.....bill |

| I've added a Bucher split ring on the nose and changed the standard hooks out for Eagle Claw 774's.May help a tad w/ hangtime.I'll know more in a week. Steve |

| I’ve tried a few different Molly Bait mods. Being a solid plastic bait it easy to tinker with. I’ve chopped it half and made jointed versions and I’ve also cut the bait off near the tail to make squirrelly versions. Those mods work well. Sinking versions are also easy to make – just drill a small hole for adding split shot.
