RK,started thinking about the dive question the other night.I am assuming you are talking about beleivers.

Little trick to getting them down deep, cold water is even more difficult as density increases.
Take a straight beleiver, drill a hole on the bottom side in the middle, fill with a little foam insulation in it.Use the spray can type.
Carefull not to put to much, you blow up the bait and split it.Judge the expasion of the product and fill your beleiver with enough foam, not to much.Just enough so when it expands it fill the empty chamber.
Now you have a beleiver that will get down into the Abyss.Epoxy the hole up afterwards.

Wait till I hit Clevleland for your Twilli Tips, some guy sells them cheap.I will pick you a couple, like 5$ each.
Take care
marc

Heya Marc,
Thanks for the tip on Believers. I might have to try that on a couple. Kind of curious to see what the 'new' believers do - they seem a lot more dense than the old ones... I'm hoarding my old ones for casting till I get more time to mess with the new ones - not sure how different the bouyancy is.

That liquid rock trolling is a wierd deal. Not sure what all manner of physics is at play there, but baits do wierd stuff when the water's almost frozen - those days when you have to bring a rubber mallet in the boat to bang the ice off the sides...

Thanks a million for the offer on the Twilly tips. No such animal around here. I ask for Twilly Tips at the shops here and people look at me like I sprouted feathers... Email me when you get 'em.

Cheers,
RK

Jason,just like the Braun commercial.
I like them so much,I bougth the company![]

RK,I agree with ya water density is freaky stuff.Hollow baits or wood baits seem more affected.Full bodied baits and super deep diving baits with big lips are less affected.
My old beleivers are treasures.Worth fixing.
Should try the new ones.
take care
