Anyone know of any spots around the LaCrosse area that hold Muskies? I plan on visiting this area more in the future and would like to tap into the Muskie population if available.

Thanks,

I would be very interested to know as well. My in-laws live accross the river from there. I do know that a portion of
in-fisherman's Muskie doctors video was filmed on the Mississippi, but I do not know where.

You wont find much of a fishable population of muskie near La Crosse. Are some muskie taken out of the Mississippi in LaCrosse? Yes, but very few. Do lakes near LaCrosse hold muskie? No, you have to travel a ways north closer to EauClaire. The Black River that flows into the Mississippi holds some nice muskie but further up toward Melrose. From Melrose to Black River Falls some nice fish are taken. I have caught one and lost one just south of BRF on this river. Maybe some of the Muskies Inc. guys from LaCrosse can chime in on this topic and give you some good info. Best of luck.
