Subject: Muskie Rod for christmas

I need to submit my christmas list this week to my wife. I have a GS series IM7 medium heavy 7'6", and want a 2nd, (3rd, 4th, and 5th rod...like that's going to happen). What brand, action, length should I ask for? I did have a 6' St. Crox that I picked up used this year that snapped setting a sucker rig hook this fall. Sent the rod to St. Croix and they declined to replace, so I'm down to one rod.

Thanks in advance;

the Big O

Declined to replace for free???? I can understand thier position on that, since you weren't the origonal purchaser. St. Croix has always treated me more than fairly when it came to replacing rods that I was the origonal purchaser of, even when the rods were broken as a result of abuse.
