| The Wisconsin Muskie Tour visited the Manitowish Chain on August 28 and 29th and the muskie fishing did not disapoint. Thirty-one muskie were registered with an impressive 14 fish meassuring over 40 inches in length. After the contest, many of the tournament anglers commented that the Manitowish Chain was some of the best waters that they had ever fished.
The WMT's Manitowish Chain tournament paid down ten places:
1st place: Tony Podhora and Mark Gillich, both of Woodruff
2nd place: Neil Barnett and Chris Pairolero, both of Winchester
3rd place: Joey Rozanski and Chris Draeger, both of Milwaukee
4th place: Travis Kopke, Oconto Falls and Shawn Kopke, DePere
5th place: Ben Bain, Vasper and Marcus Malyuk, Plover
6th place: Tim Czech, Itaska, IL and Joe Anderson, Oak Lawn, IL
7th place: Chip Heun, Minook, IL and Dave Esser, Naperville, IL
8th place: Brett and Roger Jolly, both of Wausau
9th place: Bob Davis and Cal Dorward, both of Hubertus
10th place: Ryan Wahlgren, Boulder Junction and Matt Mazur, Manitowish Waters
