| If you are 'fishing' with a significant other, and the significant other is not, at present, and angler...add a back deck, bring a blanket, and POOF>>><< the back of the boat becomes a tanning salon, if the weather is right. Otherwise, get her/him really good raingear...nothing turns the peanut gallery meaner faster than a wet whatever.....Although Jody was really 'rained on' twice this year, and didn't complain. 'Course, she is relatively new to this Muskie fishing stuff...[:sun:] |

| This is old news! Back in 1992, I was looking to upgrade my Tuffy Esox. The final specifications which closed the deal for my wife was that my Esox Magnum''s back deck (and front deck) had to be wide enough so that her 5''10" frame could spread out without hitting her head or her feet. I have been showing her off ever since! (my wife and my boat!) There are benefits to sunny warm days! |

|
| LOL! First wife was 5'10" + used to thump my 5'8" backside every chance she got so I made the last 1 a 5'6"er! At least it's more even now + we are usually finished by the time the police get there....JusT KiddinG! Got the best wife I could hope for but in order to get her out more I need to do as you guys have + get a new boat. I got a 16' aluminum + a 11.3' Leisure Life but neither provide the comfort that she deserves!*note the fact fellows that I used the word deserves; one must make the women think that THEY are the reason to go in debt yet once again.... in other words play them like a fiddle. May sell one soon + take the plunge.... the idea of a back deck just may do it! [:sun:] |

| Spongy, try throwing in a wrap around windshield and a convertible top. Work it so she thinks it’s her great idea. That’s what made the sell for me. Check my new one out -http://www.sylvanmarine.com/aluminum/expedition16dc.htm with a 90”beam she a can sunbathe in the back, and if it rains or gets too sunny put the top up and she and jr. are safe and snuggly inside. I made one fatal mistake though, once when far from anywhere I let her wizz in the splash well (her gross idea). Now she thinks it’s OK every time. On the brighter side, she washes the new boat now. [] |

| Dude, tried the www.sylvamarine. stuff but kept getting a box that had a red x in saying for no connection or something....easier way? I'll check back later- gotta take little sponge swimming... 90 some outside + our house now has no pool; they are a pain but sure do miss our other home on days like this! [:knockout:] |

| Sponge worked for me http://www.sylvanmarine.com/aluminum/expedition16dc.htm
Nice looking boat |

| Chuck, tried again but it came up "invalid syntax"? Is that a verb or pronoun? I'll try again tomorrow- 3:30 a.m. wake-up.[::)] |

|
| Sponge Bob, "invalid syntax", that sounds like a question to your next, in a series of, world renown contests! |

| I think my gal really has it made. Last year I bought a self inflating mattress so that she can lay out in style in the FRONT of the boat. Yes, I give up the front, but musky fishing for a week with her is worth fishing out of the back of the boat. She hasn't missed a fish yet with her net job. I must admit that we haven't fished on a rainy day though. That is the time that the musky fisherman goes into town to go shopping!!! |
