Subject: Bucktail vs. Spinnerbait Blades

Does anyone know if the amount of vibration from a blade type is the same both on a spinnerbait and bucktail? Have any studies been done concerning this? I would assume that any blades on a bucktail would emit less vibration than the same blade on a spinnerbait due to construction, but does anyone know if there is much difference?

I recorded both, and found that the spinnerbait was 'louder' using the exact same blade, and the spinnerbait also had that charasteristic 'thunp' the bucktail doesn't. If using a double blade, the spinnerbait was definitely much louder. The Indiana blade made the most disturbance.

Does this mean anything? No, I don't realy think so. Both are SO noisy it surprises everyone who hears that tape.
