| Force is the old Chrysler line, built in Hartford, WI. Merc bought US Motors in the 90's sometime. All motors were carburated. They didn't make any changes, or update to EFI or DFI. Pretty reliable motors. Being carburated, they will go through the fuel and oil. You will see lots of Bayliners with them on the back. |

| Does this mean I have to mix the oil and gas on this motor? It only comes in the ELPT model. |

Location: St. Cloud, MN | My inlaws have a force and it eats gas like no tommorrow. The motor is really old technology. I think you'd be disappointed |

Location: Seymour, WI | I've had a 1988 Force 35 Hp for the last three yrs. It's been a very dependable motor for me. It does use alot of gas, but not anymore than any other older 2 stroke motor.
