I'd ask a marina to help sponsor this event by allowing you to borrow one...marinas have tons of used stuff laying around, I'm sure for some publicity, they'd do it.

Talk to Fishermans Cove (Chuck and Peg) on Webster, they rent boats and I do beilve they would rent you a motor probally pretty cheap. They are great people and tell them what it is for. All they can say is no right?

I once was meeting guide chris walker up there and decided to get arrive a day early (with out my boat since I was using a guide) they let me use a boat and motor (granted I was staying there and it was the fall) but still they did not have to let me use it. The rate for a boat and motor was I think $70 a day, I liked No Charge better. Hope this helps.

i am going tomarrow but no to Webster, I am going out to Hedicke in Illinois. Don't have the time to get everything done and fight the Indiana traffic to get there from Chicago area. Want to get as much time on the water as i can.

Good Luck
