| Hey Guys, The garcia ultra-cast series of reels has been discontinued for the year 2002. Have you guys heard if there will be a new product line out for the new year that is comparable to the ultra-cast? I really like mine and was gonna pick up another 5600 with the thumb bar, but can no longer find them.[:((] |

| I don't think the tournament will be produced either. I don't hear anybody using the eon. I thought the UC was the best reel for the money. I did meet someone this past weekend who has had alot of problems with his. I was surprised. |

| Wow, what a bummer. The UC 5600 has been my mainstay reel for the past 3 seasons with very minimal problems and a heckuva lot of abuse!!! Guess I'll try to pick up any stragglers left at any local shops. I don't know why they do this to me, as each time I find a product I like, they seem to discontinue it. |

| Murphy's Law. I was planning on getting 2 more Ultra Casts for next year. Has anybody heard anything about the Eons? Have all of the problems been worked out yet?

I too am bummed, actually I'm PO'd at Garcia about a few things but I still love the feel of their product. They say the new 65's will have thumb bars but the 56's fit my hands and balance much better.
