I am looking at a Crestliner Sportfish 1850 but I am concerned about the the amount of freeboard on the boat and getting blown around a lot.

Any Crestliner owners out there? Anyone with a Sportfish? I'd appreciate some feedback from you experts on the boat.

I will be on a mix of waters, some large (mille lacs, leech, lake mich) but will mostly be on small to mid sized lakes 500+ acres

I'm also concerned that the large amount of freeboard is gonna make releasing much more difficult.

You could always go with the fish hawk.
