Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI		The 8' Avid is a heavy and is rated for up to 6oz baits. The Premier is Med heavy and rated for up to 2.5 oz.

I have them both and love the new Avid 8'. It tosses lighter baits just as nice as the Premier.
