Thad,
I'm pretty sure they will ship the 'skies effectively, MN Muskie Farm that is. Dont know anywhere else in the area, but if you find one, be sure to tell me about it....need that info for the Kly Outting....which I'm SURE you'll be fishing right Thad?

Slmr,
Yes I'm in. I never met Kly but couldn't help feeling serious sympathy for family and friends. After reading his tragic story I replaced questionable brake pads and tires. This story hits close to home for me and as we all travel from lake to lake, state to state it could happen to anyone of us at anytime. Definitely count me in sir.
I'm f/u on a local fishery who sells tigers will let you know.

My folks live on a lake they stock with Tigers in Racine, and they get their fish from the Minn Musky Farm. They do a great job with it.

It might be good fishing if I don't move in the next 5 years.
There's 9 other houses on the 10 acre, 20 ft deep lake with two aerators. It's stocked with nice size size bass and some 15lb catfish, bluegill. Every cast you pull out something. There's a overabundance of small bass so I want to introduce tigers to the equation. If I stock it with 30 tigers it will cost 200.00 just in shipping from MN muskie farm. Plus I have to stock them at night so the neighbors don't see me.........Risky if one freaks out on a kid with a silver toe ring swimming or something. Can I be liable stocking a new specie in a private lake without consent from the other home owners? Everyone is pretty cool but there's always one J.O.

Tad:

Trouble with a small order is the cost of shipping. It takes upwards of $500 in shipping to get the fish to IL from MN. They have to deadhead back so its two days on the road for each shipment, regardless of size. You may want to talk to FRV and SOB about combining your shipment with theirs so you won't have to pay the cost of shipping.

There is a list of fish dealers on the IL DNR site at - http://dnr.state.il.us/fish/index.htm
On the right nav bar select "Other Fishing Information" the select "Fish Dealer's List"
