sorry for the slack response time guys.
With our "summer population" in town, the store has been nutz and try to fish now that ski season is open as well.

I honestly do not know first hand an official E-tec report. We just didnt sell many this winter/spring. Through the grapevine the buzz is very very positive, but no first hand info..srry.

Most customers walking through the door are 4-stroke brainwashed........gets confusing to them to explain a DI engine vs. a carb'd 2-stroke vs. an EFI 2-stroke vs an EFI 4-stroke vs a carbed 4-stroke...............you get the idea.
Not to mention the inventory control.

A 4-stroke option and a plain 2-stroke option has been our staple motors on boat packages.(unless of course the bigger HP Ranger and Stratos's where DI is quite common)

The education and awareness need to be there soon though.....heck we have 2005 boats and motors in already...........2006 EPA regulated motors are only 11 months away.
