| Cass Lake / Bemidji Area Musky report
Opening week produced 38, 38, 38, 41, 44, 46 & 47" fish for my boat.
Water temps have average between 59-63 all week with an average of 62
All of those fish except 1-38"were caught on walk the dog style top water.
Conragts to Eric E who produced personal bests a 46" and 47" on Sat. all on a Perch Weagle, then finished his trip with a 38" trolling a 10" Jake on Sunday. His fishing partner Jeff produced a healthy 38" fish on a great figure 8 boatside strike on a newly named "Stink Pickle Weagle". Thanks for the memories guys. (uhhhh not all of them)
All fish were caught on the smaller lakes of the Cass Chain. I spent 2 full days mid week on Cass and only saw 2 small fish. With temps rising I expect the larger fish to start showing some as water temps hit the mid 60's but will be concentrating my efforts elsewhere until that happens.
