| Looking for opinions. Does the color of the boat, especially the bottom, affect muskies and our ability to catch them? My boat currently has a white bottom. I dont seem to have as many hook ups at the boat as some on here do. Could the boat bottom be a factor? |

| In my opinion white would be the best, since the sky is white. But have run boats with black bottoms for the last 9 years and the muskies are by no means boat shy.
Muskies in my opinion are more boat shy if the angler yells out "Theres a fish". Often then the muskie will look up and think to himself, "there a stupid fisherman thats trying to catch me". At least I think thats what they are trying to tell us when they swim away.
Dont worry about color, just comforts.[;)] |

| In the spring and summer, muskies totally avoid green and white boats with a silver bottom. Not too much in the fall. I would say silver or white would look most natural if that's what your looking for. |

| Dude....paint a school of baitfish on the bottom....that should keep them around your boat for awhile!![:0] [;)] [:sun:] |

| The bottom of my boat was brown once. My dad had a big girl up to the boat a few weeks ago.[;)] |
