Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | How did your Muskie fishing go this weekend? Sue and I stayed pretty close to home working on the yard, garage, and house and scoring the PMTT MuskieFIRST Live Leader Board. Next weekend, it's a Walleye Angler's Trail tournament on the Mississippi, so that's out, I guess. Maybe the crappies will be willing Thursday night..

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | Had a bunch of follows to the boat, couple fish hitting lures but missing for various reasons, Bukes caught a 32" or 33" on saturday with me(Bukes, can't remember the exact length, what was it?) and then fished with Hoosier Handmade Musky baits maker Don Slagle sunday, he caught a 35.5" .

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Saw 6 or 7 fish on Sat, and missed one with John MD. The cold front seemed to shut them down. Didn't see anything in the afternoon. Sunday caught a nice largemouth on a slammer, and raised one fish. This spring slump has got to end sooner or later. I have been seeing too many fish not to pin a handfull up. Hope everyone else stuck some fish.

Posts: 5874 | I saw a muskie, yesterday, while prefishing for next weekend's RCL on Green Bay. I saw the fish as I was letting out a board. I t came from the depth's and headed for the board with mouth open, right on the surface. It passed the board by witin inches, and headed for the next one. It also passed that one by, and then just lolligagged around on the surface for a while. Fish looked to be mid to upper 40ish. Man, this eye fishing is killing my ski hunting this year. Haven't been after them once this year, and don't see me getting any weekends off to chase them until after the Merc Nats in June! Extreme One! Let's get out for an eveing during the week! I need a fix! Edited by Shep 5/17/2004 8:44 AM

Posts: 1294 Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | Sat. on Cisco chain, 1 scrawny, beat up low 30's ski on the 7th cast of the season. Fish was so beat up, I almost felt bad about hooking him. The rest of the day amounted to enjoying the scenery. Saw 2 other beat up fish cruising the shallows, but no follows. Other than the catching, it was a great day to be out.
