Subject: Dead Muskies?

I found this to be very odd. On my home lake The Allegheny Res NY/PA there were 2 dead muskies found in the same bay in 2 days. Both muskies were over 50 inches and full of eggs. My nieghbor found the first one. It was still alive but belly up on the top. He tried to revive for a while by turning it right side up but the fish just wasn't going to make. He brought the fish and gutted it to see what it has been eating. The stomach was empty and the fish was full of eggs. Same thing happened to another local the very next day, female full of eggs. This time of year of the water is higher than normal with the spring flooding and right now there is ALOT of debris floating around. Anyone have an idea as to what might be happening here? The first one was understandable but not another one the very next day, something has to going on.

You may want to contact your local game protector and ask them to investigate. They have the expertise. m
