| I will be heading up to LOTW for the first time in late August. We will be in the Northeast section. Was wondering if anyone has fished this area (French Narrows, Big Narrows, Andrews Bay)? Any pointers? or comments? Any info will help plan for the trip. Appreciate your comments. Thanks. |

Location: Southern W.Va. | I've not fished that area but my boss goes there every year in July. He swears by a yellow MEPPS spinner. I fished Sabaskong Bay area and done my best on a Sledge jerkbait in what I call a black cherry color. I was there on the outing last August with Muskiesfirst and as a group we caught over 140 muskys in 7 days between ( i think) 24 people. The largest was a 51.5" Monster caught by John MD , my best was a little guy of 45" by I was tickled with it. Wish I could go this year but...........................

Location: Sioux Narrows | The fish are still related to mid summer structure, they do have a tendency to be a little deeper and off the sides of the structure, have caught some fish trolling this period also. As far as areas that your fishing French Narrows has some good fish in and around it. |
