Going to get some nasty weather around here (Thunderstorms) mixed with a cold front (temps dropping 20 degrees).

Whos going to be in Indy this weekend?

I will be out there again, Webster Friday after work, Webster Saturday morning then moving to Tippy around 1:00 and then who knows on Sunday.

My client called yesterday and rescheduled for next weekend, I guess he was afraid of a little rain!!! It will probably be pretty nasty this weekend, but you can't catch fish sittin' on the couch!

See you out there, maybe we can talk and share some info.

You guy's are talkin' fishin' and my favorite lakes still have ice on em' Well I hope you fall and chip a tooth
stumbling out of bed in the dark tomorrow morning ; )

I get to put in a dock, pontoon lift then P/U the 'toon' from storage and prep. out in 40F air, 35F water with
intermittent rain and possible snow/sleet. After that, I move onto the plumbing, dead hidden rodent hunt (kinda like an
easter egg hunt but the prize is a little disappointing) and finally back outside for raking and general grounds keeping
at my gals family cabin tomorrow. What I do for a little ------ !!! and being only 20 minutes from LEECH Lake !!!!!

Pride before destruction boy's

You don't HAVE TO do that this weekend.

Indiana isn't that far. Get in your truck and drive!! Indiana fishing is picking up and the weather will keep 98% of all the locals off the water.

I assume it will be the usuals out there, me, matt collins, todd m, ralphie, and a few others.

I'll be out there this weekend too. Hoosier Muskie Hunters are doing their annual "Guid For A Day' this weekend and I've volunteered to help out. Webster, Tippy and Barbee will all have these guy's on them. Last I heard there will be around 60 fisherman involved in this event. I'm guessing some may shy away because of the forecast but that ain't stopping me. Good luck out there!

I did not buy a 200 dollar set of rain gear so I can chicken out at the sound of thunder and a few rain drops and cold. I am fishing! Not sure where in indiana yet, we usually decide by the time we get to warsaw.

......and it did rain too. My raingear kept me almost dry but being in a steady rain for 7 hours got enough down my neck, up my sleeves, up my pant legs, waist, that I was pretty much soaked by the end of the day anyway.

After about 7 hours on the water and temps that started out at about 47 and steadily fell with ocassional light rains my brother said I've had enough. I looked back at him and his leggs were jumping around shivering. I had on my thinsulate lined jeans and was comfortable but couldn't really keep him out any longer so we threw in the towel. Tomorrow is another day.
