Posts: 140 | Knocker, I know that there were a few BIG girls in that boat last season. I was up at Herbie's place for a week last July. The guided a guy to a 56 inch fish out of that boat the week before we got there.

Posts: 459 Location: New Baden IL | What a differendce a few days makes. Bibs/coat and stocking hat on Monday, shorts and no shirt on Friday (not pretty) 80 Degrees and Sunny Wind was gusty and strong from the South Water temps pushing 65 degrees in some spots, 58 main basin. Water clarity is super right now, at least 4-5 foot in some spots. I moved 5 fish today: Lost 1 had 2 Strikes and 2 Follows. All on the Reef Hawg. I was working it fast and eratic, 2 hits boatside. Can't wait to get back there Sunday. Rodney LaCaze

Posts: 459 Location: New Baden IL | Monday's Report 6 Hours pounding the water to a froth today, and only 1 follow to show for it. We had shad folloing our baits up shallow, but no muskies. Usually have some good luck when the shad are up that shallow, but not today. Overcast all day, 75 degrees Water was 62-66 degrees/3-5' visib. Wind was SE and strong most of the day. One follow on a Superman Magic Maker Rod

| Rodney, Thanks for the information. Caught a 31" on Sunday using your tips. Main lake, off a bank on a Crane, about 6-8' bait about 2-3' below surface. Thanks. Barry | |||
